Yesterday the French have broken the world speed record on their new train the V150. It reached 357 mph breaking the old record of 320mph set in 1990 (also set by the French).
A reporter on board this momentous ride commented that at the top speed “looking out the window…the French countryside became a green blur”
Finally…a train that moves so fast, there’s no need to enjoy the countryside.
During the ride Eric Pieczac, the V150 engineer, was asked “at this current speed, how long will it take to stop?”
“Stop?” “…merde!”
The countryside came into focus as the V150 crashed into the town of Champagne.
In the French Government’s press release after the terrible tradgedy, President Jacques Chirac states “These people died in the way any Frenchman would be proud…in Champagne.”
Jerry Lewis who could not make the train ride was unavailable for comment.

You had me going on the crash. You! Loved your Unk post.
I guess the Japs will be building a nuclear powered Bullet Train to compete now
